Installers first. A company second.
VJ Energy started in 2020, but the work behind it started a lot earlier. Our founders spent years on the tools, installing solar for other companies, before they built their own.
Why the business exists
We learned how jobs are won, how they are run and where they go wrong. We also saw plenty of work come back to be fixed because it was rushed the first time.
That is why we run installations the way we knew they should be run: with our own teams, our own standards and someone accountable at the end of the job. We registered the company in September 2020 and have been building steadily ever since.
We are not the biggest company in this market and we are not trying to be. What we offer is straightforward: crews who have done this work thousands of times, a clean install that passes first time, and a phone number that gets answered when you need something sorted.
Who we work for
Homeowners
Rooftop solar and battery systems for houses across the south-east and beyond. Most of this work comes from referrals and repeat customers, which is how we prefer it.
Commercial and industrial sites
Warehouses, factories, offices, retail sites and multi-unit buildings. This is the side of the business we are growing hardest.
Anyone whose system needs looking after
Servicing, fault finding and repairs on solar and battery systems, including ones we did not install.
Other companies in the trade
Solar retailers, builders, developers and electrical contractors who have won the job but need accredited teams to install it.
What we commit to on site
- We turn up when we said. If we say a crew is on site Tuesday, the crew is on site Tuesday. If something moves, you hear it from us first.
- One point of contact. The same person handles your job from quote through to handover.
- Your site rules, followed. Inductions, safety documentation and site rules are followed as the site requires them, without being chased.
- Documentation on handover. Compliance paperwork and the system explained to whoever will be using it.
